When you put in a mailbox, it’s official, I think.

And, yes, I put in this mailbox. How long, do you think, until some asshole comes driving drunk and rowdy around the corner and takes it out? Cast your votes, now.

Well, it’s less than a week here in Arkansas, and we’re so still in boxes. We’re up to our tits in boxes. How did we fit all this shit in 650 square feet? I have no idea. We’re running out of space NOW, and we’ve got almost three times the space. Of course, 2 rooms are off limits, because one’s a guest room (get it, there’s a place to sleep for all of you when you come visit – remember when you said “of course we’ll come visit”?) and the other the baby’s room. Fetus hasn’t even hit 3rd trimester and he’s got a room already. Score!

So I’ve got a little corner desk action going, and a different table for all three computers. Sundi’s even got a little desk in the kitchen for her MacBook, and I think she digs it.

Plasma stand should arrive Monday, so that’s something. We still don’t have a BBQ, and I’m dying to buy a fire pit, but with the insurance still not transferred to Arkansas, and pending doctor’s visits, I think I’ll save my money. Of course, I still need a 5.1 speaker setup for video/audio production, but that’s a “need”, you see. (By the way, the only thing that system doesn’t do is blow you. And there’s no way I’m paying retail for it.)

At least I have me a new toy to… (ahem)… a new work machine to really pump out the design work. 8 cores can do wonders, really. I don’t even think I’ve used 3 cores, yet, but I’m working on it! (Hmm, how much porn do you think you can download and watch at once before you max out 8 cores…?)

Did I mention 9GB of RAM? Did I mention Rock of Ages, keep it rollin’?

So, I promise that at some point I’ll dig myself out and call all of you. Or just some of you. Probably just one in each couple. Or maybe a conference call, just to not have to tell stories more than once. Or you could all get a brain, buy a Mac, and we could have an iChat video conference. Or, just languish in Windows hell.

Speaking of, I better fire up my PC for some Call of Duty 4.
