One of the funniest movie sequences in history is, in my opinion, when Austin Milbarge and Emmet Fitzhume parachute out of an airplane to start their GLG-20 training for the CIA. They land, ninjas come out of nowhere and then Colonel Rhombus shows up to tell them what’s what.

I can understand lol, as a way to say “laugh out loud,” showing enjoyment where text can’t convey it. Although, “haha” or “hee” works better for me, IMO. But, my question is, how is typing “ne thing” in net slang any shorter than typing the actual spelling of the word?

Whoever out there that thinks “sending along the information I need” is equivalent to “forwarding the email someone sent to me along to you” is lacking in neural prowess. The same can be said for those of you that say “I’ll email you” and then don’t.
