I’m fascinated by people that don’t know anything. Ok, perhaps not anything, but simple things. Like, “How do you get there?” I don’t know about you, but there’s this nifty new invention they call a map. “Where do I get one?”
I remember using a typewriter. A lot of people don’t. Actually, I think a lot of people that used a typewriter don’t remember using one, either. I also remember writing letters. By hand. With a pen. In cursive. What happened? Not to the methods – but to the writing.
As I’ve mentioned before, I subscribe to Gamefly, which is essentially Netflix for games. I usually add games to my queue that I would not buy myself, or that didn’t strike me at first, but upon reading reviews, look interesting. I do, often times, find some gems along the way.
This is not one of them.
Travelling for business seems like a win-win. You get to see new places and experience new food and customs, meet new people and take in a culture you don’t normally get to, right?
In reality, everywhere you go is tailored to business travelers, everyone you meet probably flew in as well, and everything you see can be carried in a bag in the first place.
I started this post with a simple question: what is graphic design? I get asked that question a lot, and I thought I would explore the subject.
But when I started looking for imagery and articles about it, I came across something that really made me angry – people ripping off material on just that subject.
