I realize, by now, you all know I’m a bit of a Mac-head. I guess I have to accept the “fanboy” label, as well. Granted.

But when you have products like these to get excited about, why not? Regardless of who you are, and whether you think Apple is good or bad, Steve Jobs is an idiot or a genius, Macs are fantastic or overpriced, you have to admit that Apple makes damn cool products, if nothing else.

And damn awesome OS’s. Leopard is no exception.

I wish they’d just move on to “OS 11” already, because this “X” business, we see right through. But, regardless, it’s a pretty nice step-up. It’s the first time I’ve installed a new OS from Apple and felt that my older machine actually performed BETTER, believe it or not. It’s faster, it’s cooler, it’s cleaner (thank you, Spaces).

I haven’t been able to try out Time Machine, because I’m stuck in moving hell and everything’s scattered around (including my backup drives) so I will have to talk about that later.

And just a footnote to this: Apple, give up the games idea. Who gives a shit if companies want to put games on a Mac. I use my PC for games and web programming – that’s it. I use my Mac for everything else. Video, audio, graphics pros are all gonna buy Macs over PC’s… stick with making us happy, ok?

Give us DVD Studio 5, already. Give us a reason to use Motion over AE (closer, this version, but not yet). Give us a Color (which is AMAZING) which looks and operates like part of the Apple family. Give me a free Mac Pro.

OK, maybe that last one ain’t gonna happen. But let’s work on the first 3. I gotta go play with my pussy now.
