Just thought I’d share some of the great music I’ve been listening to lately. Some of this is brand new, some a few years old, but it’s all superb.
“Anna Molly” – Incubus, from Light Grenades.
“Just a Thought” – Gnarls Barkley, from St. Elsewhere
“Slow Dancing in a Burning Room” -John Mayer, from Continnum
“Heartbeats” -Jose Gonzalez, from Veneer
“Bedshaped” -Keane, from Hopes & Fears
“O Sailor” -Fiona Apple, from Extraordinary Machine
“Leave Out All the Rest” -Linkin Park, from Minutes to Midnight
(As a matter of fact, this whole album rocks. Go get it, legally.)
By the way, Linkin Park fans (I don’t mean all the kids that like them now, but those of us that first heard them back in late 2000 – that’s right, late 2000), their new album is a little different. And, usually, when bands grow in their sound, fans bitch and moan. There’s still plenty of Chester’s screaming and wailing, but there are a lot softer, cooler songs, as well. Think more “My Dsmbr” than “One Step Closer”.
Oh, and another thing. Limeaid Margaritas, or Bacardi Frozen Margarita mix = heavenly.
